Clerkships offer an inside view of how courts operate and connect students directly with a judge, making them excellent opportunities to gain experience in the legal profession and build your network. Law clerks help draft documents, review briefs, and prepare a judge for hearings and trials in federal, state, local, or specialized courts. Considered highly prestigious, clerkships also provide invaluable legal training, strengthen writing and analytical skills, lead to mentorship, and create insight into judicial decision-making.
